Testimonials

We have worked with Campbell McCrae on a number of large and small scale projects over the past 8 years, notably The Varsity Hotel and Six Restaurant in Cambridge. We have always found Chris and his team to be efficient, reliable and helpful with ideas in developing the schemes.

From planning through to execution The Team have always delivered technical drawings on time, and cost effectively. Working with a smaller architectural firm has significant benefits; we have found much more care and attention to detail is taken to develop the schemes.

We look forward to working with them in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending Campbell McCrae associates .

Tariq and Will ,

I wasn’t convinced we needed an architect at first,  but I’m glad now we had Chris. This was a major project for us, and I had given it a lot of thought...but  Chris challenged my own ideas and I enjoyed the process of achieving a better design with his input. He also made sense of the planning process. He was there when I needed him, but was happy for me to have my own relationship with the builder. We are now living very happily in our new extension and very pleased with both the process and the result.

Maggie Stewart,

Chris McCrae worked with my wife and I for more than a year, designing and then overseeing the construction of our new home. Chris’s professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to listen to both our needs and the practical considerations of the builder made working with him a pleasure. I have no hesitation in recommending Campbell McCrae and would happily engage them again should the situation arise.

John and Paula Williams,

Ken Walmsley: "As project manager for the recent refurbishment of Huntingdon Methodist Church, we have been working with Campbell McCrae Ltd. throughout the 3 stages of the projects design and implementation.

I found them to be very professional and thorough in all aspects of their work, producing several schemes before finally settling on the chosen design.

During the work several unexpected problems appeared, common I believe with older buildings, but with the support and help of Campbell McCrae, answers were found and problems overcome.

The results so far have been well received by the congregation, and we now look forward to continuing our relationship with them, and completing the last section of the program."
