MEET THE TEAM

Meet the Team

CHRIS MCCRAE, BSC (HONS) MCIAT C.Build E. MCABE.

DIRECTOR, CHARTERED ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST AND CHARTERED BUILDING ENGINEER

• • •

With over 15 years of experience, predominantly in the residential sector (new builds, extensions and conversions), Chris oversees all projects in the practice, providing specialist planning and technical knowledge.

Keen for Campbell McCrae to remain a friendly, local firm, Chris encourages clients to drop in, phone up or email whenever they like; whether it is to ask a pressing question, share a 'light bulb' moment or just for a chat, Chris is keen that the business remains grounded and keeps its clients at the forefront moving forwards.

Chris is a graduate of The School of Arts and Technology (The University of Derby), with an honours degree in Architectural Technology and Digital Innovation. Chris is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), and a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Building Engineers (CABE)

AMY MCCRAE, BA (HONS)

DIRECTOR & COMPANY SECRETARY

• • •

With a degree and background in teaching and education, Amy is renowned for being organised and keeps the team (mainly Chris) in check. Working part-time, Amy deals with much of the day-to-day running of the firm including general administration and accounts.
BULENT BASYIGIT, BSC CIVIL & GEOMATIC ENGINEERING
CONSULTANT SURVEYOR

• • •

Bulent provides Chris and the team with accurate measured surveys on which to base their proposals. With over 25 years’ experience in surveying, Bulent utilises the latest laser and GPS technology to generate topographical and measured building surveys. Campbell McCrae rarely stretch his capabilities; however, occasionally, we hand him a nice ‘wonky’ listed building which spikes his interest (and blood pressure) somewhat.

SAIED MAHMOUD, MCIAT
ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANT

• • •

Saied deals with projects from concept through the full planning, building regulations and technical processes, including liaising with clients and Local Authorities as required.
With over 25 years of experience in the residential sector, working in both the private and public sector, Saied’s experience is invaluable to the practice.
DAN CARTWRIGHT, BA ARCH (HONS), ACIAT
ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT

• • •

Dan is a graduate of the University of Nottingham with a First Class honours degree in Architecture (RIBA Pt1). Dan has joined Campbell McCrae, recognising the diverse range of projects that they are involved with, and is excited to be working within all stages of the process. As Dans experience increases, he hopes to further his studies and complete his full RIBA qualification, with the support of the Campbell McCrae team.
